What we keep,
and why.
We collect as little as the work needs, keep it only as long as the work needs, and never sell it. This page says exactly what that means. Plain language first; the legal shape is the same.
01 · Who we are
automemory.ai is operated by DotInfo Solution, a business registered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India ("AutoMemory", "we", "us"). We are the data fiduciary for personal data collected through this website and in the course of our services, within the meaning of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), and the controller for the purposes of the GDPR where it applies to visitors from the EEA or UK.
Registered address: Olympia Tech Park, Guindy, Chennai 600032, Tamil Nadu, India. Questions about this policy go to hello@automemory.ai with the subject "privacy".
02 · What we collect
What you give us. When you use a form on this site — contact, ARC access request, journal subscription, the signal box on the home page — we receive what you type: typically your name, email address, company, phone number if you add it, and the text you write about your business or market.
What your browser sends. Our hosting provider records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of request, referring page. We use these to keep the site running and to notice abuse. We do not combine them with form data.
What we do not collect. We do not run advertising trackers, social-media pixels or fingerprinting scripts. We do not collect payment details on this site; invoices for services are handled separately under a written agreement.
03 · Why we use it
- to reply to you and, if you ask, to run a scoping call and write a map for your business
- to assess and run an ARC beta engine on the market you describe
- to send journal entries you subscribed to, until you unsubscribe
- to keep the site secure, available and free of abuse
- to meet legal obligations — tax, accounting, and lawful requests from authorities
We process your data on the basis of your consent (forms you choose to submit), the performance of a contract or steps before one (scoping, engagements), and our legitimate interest in running a secure website. We do not use your data for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
04 · Market signals
Our services and ARC read what is already public — forum threads, product reviews, app-store feedback, public support threads — to understand a market. This is public information, read in aggregate to find problems, not to profile individuals. We keep the words people used, not their identities; usernames and links are removed from anything we publish or hand to a client. If something of yours appears in a signal set and you want it removed, write to us and we will.
05 · Who we share it with
- Service providers who host the site, deliver email and run forms, under contracts that limit them to processing on our instructions
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us there — their terms and privacy policy apply to that channel
- AI model providers, when drafting replies or running engagements; we send only what the task needs, and we do not permit providers to train on client data where that option exists
- Authorities, where the law requires it
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share one client’s or beta member’s information with another.
06 · Where it lives, how long
Data is stored with our hosting and email providers, which may process it in India, the EU or the US under standard contractual safeguards. Form submissions and correspondence are kept for as long as we are in contact and for up to 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted. Records we must keep for tax or accounting are kept for the period Indian law requires. Journal subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for 90 days.
07 · Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The only storage it uses is what your browser needs to render the page and remember a preference you set on it (for example, a dismissed notice), kept on your device and never sent to us. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in future, this section will say so and you will be able to opt out here.
08 · Your rights
You can ask us at any time to: tell you what personal data we hold about you; correct it; delete it; stop sending you journal entries; or give you a copy of what you provided. Write to hello@automemory.ai with the subject "privacy". We answer within 30 days, usually much sooner. You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India or, where applicable, your local supervisory authority.
09 · Children
This site and our services are for businesses and the adults who run them. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.
10 · Changes
When this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it, and material changes are noted here for 60 days. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
